About the role

A1Apps is looking for an SEO & AEO Lead to own and scale our organic growth engine.
This role is for someone who can combine strong SEO fundamentals with hands-on execution, structured thinking, and clear business judgment. You’ll lead end-to-end SEO strategy across our web properties, landing pages, and content surfaces — while also helping us strengthen visibility across newer search and answer-driven discovery experiences.
You’ll work closely with marketing, content, design, product, and engineering to identify high-impact opportunities, prioritize what matters most, and turn strategy into measurable business outcomes.

What you’ll do

  • Own the overall SEO and AEO strategy and roadmap for A1Apps’ priority web properties and landing pages.
  • Build keyword, topic, and search-intent strategy aligned with business priorities, user journeys, and conversion goals.
  • Run technical SEO audits and drive improvements across crawlability, indexation, site structure, page speed, Core Web Vitals, schema, redirects, and internal linking.
  • Partner with content and marketing teams to improve existing pages and create new organic growth opportunities.
  • Work with product, design, and engineering to ensure SEO requirements are considered in launches, migrations, and page/template changes.
  • Track rankings, traffic quality, landing-page performance, conversions, and the broader business impact of organic growth.
  • Set clear priorities across quick wins, foundational improvements, and longer-term growth bets.
  • Monitor competitors, algorithm changes, and evolving search behavior, then translate those insights into practical action plans.

What we’re looking for

  • Strong hands-on experience across technical SEO, on-page SEO, and content-led SEO.
  • A track record of owning SEO outcomes in a startup, consumer internet company, SaaS business, media/content platform, or another performance-driven digital business.
  • Ability to move beyond generic best practices and make decisions based on data, experimentation, and business impact.
  • Comfort working independently and driving execution across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication skills, especially when turning SEO findings into clear recommendations for non-SEO stakeholders.

Strong candidates will also have

  • Experience in mobile app, consumer internet, or multi-product environments.
  • Experience managing SEO across multiple websites, domains, or landing-page funnels.
  • Familiarity with conversion rate optimization and how organic traffic translates into downstream performance.
  • Exposure to international SEO, programmatic SEO, or large-scale content operations.

What success looks like

  • A clear SEO roadmap with high-priority opportunities, owners, and measurable goals is established early.
  • Organic traffic quality improves — not just traffic volume.
  • Priority pages and keyword clusters show ranking improvement over time.
  • Technical SEO issues are surfaced early and resolved with strong follow-through.
  • SEO becomes a repeatable growth channel with clear visibility into impact, learnings, and next steps.
